Ballstad Slip is primarily known as a service base for the fishing fleet in Lofoten and the surrounding region. The shipyard will continue with the sales and service of Cummins and Yanmar.
We delivered our first self-produced semi-diesel engine in 1913. At the time, our customers were local fishermen, who continuously provided us with feedback and suggestions for improvements. We listened and acted. This developed us a reputation along the coast, of having engines and people you can trust.
A new contract was signed with Fjord1 in regards to supply and maintenance of generators for their new ferries. The first part of the delivery is scheduled to take place in January 2024, and delivered in full by the end of November.
